Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to develop comprehensive treatment plans that align with patients’ individual experiences and backgrounds.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, within families, and in group settings, deploying strategies that resonate with the cultural contexts of your patients.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions aimed at addressing specific mental health concerns and providing patients with tools to enhance resilience and emotional well-being.

• Participate in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and additional health care professionals to ensure integrated treatment approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate and appropriate support.

• Educate patients and their families about mental wellness, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, fostering a trustful environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Current state licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) to practice independently in Texas.

• Demonstrated competence in counseling practices and culturally responsive therapy techniques.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient in using telehealth technologies and electronic health record (EHR) software to deliver services and maintain documentation.
