Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide crisis intervention and diversion assistance during consumer crisis situations.

• Deliver both face-to-face and telehealth services, adapting to client needs.

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical and interdisciplinary meetings to enhance team collaboration and case planning.
\n
• Engage in continuous education through training and professional development opportunities.
\n
• Maintain licensure in good standing, adhering to renewal and continuous education requirements.

• Successfully complete background checks as mandated and maintain compliance throughout employment.
\n
• Assist in supervising and mentoring junior therapists and interns, fostering their professional development.
\n
• Offer integrated case management, advocacy, and resource linkages for consumers to enhance their recovery journey.
\n
• Exemplify cultural sensitivity, willing to engage with individuals from diverse socioeconomic, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds.

• Participate in a rotation for after-hours on-call services and provide weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
\n
• Conduct thorough intake diagnostic assessments, including crisis planning, clinical summaries, and treatment planning.

• Collaborate with consumers’ family members to monitor treatment responses and behavioral changes.

You will work with a diverse demographic, focusing on clients facing various mental health issues, intellectual disabilities, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in a human services-related field is required.

• Active license in the District of Columbia as LPC, LMFT, or LICSW.

• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and manage time effectively while meeting productivity expectations.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly engaging with diverse populations, will be highly regarded. Previous experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is also preferred.
