Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and provide individualized counseling sessions for geriatric patients experiencing cognitive issues, dementia, and other mental health concerns.

• Utilize clinical assessment skills to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Facilitate both group and individual therapy sessions, meeting with clients weekly to monitor progress and adjust care strategies as necessary.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care, enhancing communication and understanding of social-emotional dynamics impacting client well-being.

• Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic health records system to ensure consistency and compliance with organizational standards.

• Provide culturally sensitive and ethical counseling services in line with the professional standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on geriatric patients, addressing their complex needs associated with aging and various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a human services-related field is required.

• You must hold a valid license in the District of Columbia as an LPC, LICSW, or LMFT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
