Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

• Facilitating and leading consumer support groups, fostering an inclusive and safe space for sharing experiences and coping strategies.

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via telehealth to address the unique needs of consumers, family members, and significant others, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.

• Participating in case conferences and formal discussions with the clinical team to develop personalized treatment plans and contribute to multidisciplinary care.

• Assisting the clinical team in identifying and addressing social service needs, maintaining relationships with local agencies and community organizations to advocate for consumer resources.

• Mentoring and collaborating with interns and volunteers to enhance the effectiveness of center activities tailored to the diverse needs of each consumer.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counseling services provided will primarily focus on individuals experiencing perinatal mental health issues, along with a broad range of mental health conditions. You will play a critical role in supporting expectant and new parents while also assisting individuals across various demographics, ensuring inclusive and accessible mental health resources.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current licensing in Washington State as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a third party.
\n
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Compensation and Benefits\n
