Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions aimed at addressing mental health concerns and fostering resilience.

• Perform thorough client psychosocial assessments to develop and monitor comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with each client's needs.
\n
• Oversee the client intake process, capturing critical background information to inform treatment.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a team of clinical staff, discussing cases and strategies during regular treatment team meetings.
\n
• Identify clients’ negative behaviors through thoughtful questioning and engage in therapeutic dialogue to help them understand and modify these patterns.

• Provide support to clients battling addictions, offering strategies to manage harmful behaviors and urges that may arise.
\n
• Document client progress meticulously, ensuring accurate and timely charting of each session while maintaining confidentiality.
\n
• Monitor and assist in the facilitation of therapy sessions that may include addressing random substance use testing results.
\n
• Establish and maintain professional and supportive relationships with clients, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.

• Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization by performing additional related duties as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be providing compassionate care to a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will serve clients from various backgrounds, allowing you to employ culturally competent practices tailored to their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and valid license as an LPC, LMFT, or LICSW, in line with state regulations.

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication with clients and staff.

• Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, while maintaining professional interpersonal skills.

• Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
