Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the complex needs of cancer patients and their families, enabling the development of tailored therapeutic plans.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting strategies to fit each client's unique circumstances.

• Provide highly supportive counseling and robust therapeutic interventions for individuals coping with cancer diagnoses, recurrence, end-of-life issues, and survivorship challenges.

• Create and facilitate virtual support groups, encouraging peer connection and providing a space for shared experiences, emotions, and coping strategies.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment, integrating new findings into your everyday practice to improve care quality.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice throughout all interactions.

• Collaborate effectively with oncologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and continuity for clients.

Your primary focus will be on cancer patients and their families, guiding them through emotional hardship and providing crucial mental health support during pivotal moments in their lives. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Proof of a clean professional history with no history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a third party.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States and compliance with state licensure requirements.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
