Job Description

Position Summary

The Accounting Assistant provides day-to-day accounting and administrative support to ensure accurate, timely, and well-organized financial transactions and records. This position is responsible for assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, vendor documentation, and financial recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with Customer Invoices: generate invoice in Mothernode, sync with QBO and send to customer
Accounts Payable: Obtain approval, reconcile, and pay payables with checks and ACH payments. Maintain Fraud Protection services.
Ensure new vendor accounts are compliant
Maintain ASI Master Service Agreements (MSA), W9 forms and insurances of subcontractors
Perform all bank and credit card reconciliations
Accept and complete special projects assigned Accounting Supervisor and Management

Skills Set Required

Preferably at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience
Working knowledge of Quickbooks Online
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
