Work Environment\n

This full-time therapist position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while being part of a dynamic outpatient practice. Our team meets regularly to discuss patient care, share insights, and engage in collaborative problem-solving, ensuring that all members feel supported in their professional roles. Although the primary structure is remote, occasional in-person meetings may be scheduled to strengthen team relationships and strategize patient management.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, evaluating psychological needs and developing individualized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, considering the unique developmental and emotional needs of each patient.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions including individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and family therapy, to address various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Engage with caregivers through family therapy sessions to educate and empower them in fostering a nurturing environment that supports their child's growth.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and act promptly during mental health emergencies, coordinating care with other professionals when immediate support is necessary.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system efficiently to document patient progress.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and allied professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care that supports each patient’s journey toward mental wellness.

• Actively participate in semi-monthly team meetings and case consultations, engaging in professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. You will directly impact the lives of young individuals and their families, guiding them through their mental health journeys and contributing to improved overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Georgia as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Strong expertise in child and adolescent mental health disorders, with familiarity in evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to this demographic.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy.

• Proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with children, adolescents, and families, promoting an open space for healing.

• Competency in managing electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technology to enhance patient care.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health services.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation range for this position is competitive, offering an annual salary between USD 80,000 and 105,000, alongside opportunities for performance bonuses. Enhanced benefits include a comprehensive healthcare package, a retirement savings plan with employer contributions, and generous paid time off (PTO) combined with holiday pay. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is offered to new hires.
