Job Description This Director, HR Consulting role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA. You will serve as a high‑impact strategic partner to business leaders, shaping the future of our most vital asset: our Team Members. Take the lead on enterprise‑wide HR initiatives, from global programs to executive‑sponsored priorities. Help evolve Hilton’s global HR toolkit, keeping our talent practices exceptional. Ignite and lead high‑impact talent initiatives that attract, develop, and retain the industry’s very best. Serve as a high‑level advisor to key clients on organizational design and job evolution, providing data‑backed recommendations that ensure consistency in leveling, compensation, and role definition. Champion and inspire a rigorous culture of accountability, setting the standard for performance and integrity across the organization. Forge seamless partnerships with our HR Centers of Excellence (Benefits, Compensation, Team Member Relations, Learning & Development, Recruiting, HR Analytics) to deliver holistic, world‑class solutions tailored to client needs. Act as a critical liaison with Legal, Finance, and governmental agencies, navigating information requests and ensuring full regulatory alignment. Provide business partners with strategic insights on talent management, succession planning and turnover reporting to drive informed decision‑making. Architect the “People Strategy,” transforming business objectives into a high‑performing reality, building trust‑based relationships with key partners to gain a comprehensive understanding of Hilton’s short‑ and long‑term goals, evaluating people‑related risks and opportunities, and optimizing the global framework. Qualifications Seven (7) years of experience working in a large, global, corporate, and matrixed environment. Four (4) years of management experience. Three (3) years of experience developing HR strategy aligned with critical business priorities. Three (3) years of consulting, project management (PM), or change‑management experience. Travel as needed. Preferred Qualifications BA/BS Bachelor's Degree or MS/MA Master's Degree. Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification. Experience supporting a business unit with high customer contact (e.g., customer care center, reservations center). Broad global understanding of relevant employment legislation. Experience with Oracle, PeopleSoft, and SuccessFactors.
