Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients and families to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges related to their health circumstances.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions that prioritize the needs and preferences of the patient.

• Facilitate discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition from the detox program to follow-up care, by coordinating effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and community resources.

• Provide ongoing education and counseling to patients and families, arming them with coping strategies for adapting to the effects of detox and any underlying health issues.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention and provide both brief and long-term therapies, which may include individual, group, and family formats.
\n
• Participate in on-call rotation to handle emergency situations and facilitate after-hour calls in a timely manner.
\n
• Present educational seminars on psychosocial oncology practice, enhancing knowledge sharing among healthcare professionals.

• Contribute to community services through outreach, education, and volunteerism aimed at supporting cancer survivors and increasing community resources.

• Serve as a resource to your colleagues by offering your expertise and insight into best practices in social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification from substances, a vulnerable population often facing significant emotional and psychological challenges. By utilizing a holistic approach to care, you will support their journey towards recovery, improving their overall emotional well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.

• A Bachelor's degree in social work or related field; a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for continuous professional development.
