In this full-time role, the LCSW will provide essential mental health services tailored to the unique needs of students at our remote educational facility located in Fort Collins, Colorado. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in meeting the needs of our diverse student population. The work schedule typically includes hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and on-call availability required for urgent mental health situations. You will be a vital part of a supportive team, working from your home office while engaging with students and staff through secure digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments with students to identify their personal history, presenting concerns, and relevant risk factors.

• Collaborate with students to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing their specific mental health issues and facilitating their integration into the school community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care to provide effective interventions.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions designed to enhance students' personal growth, emotional regulation, and coping strategies.

• Work in partnership with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care is provided to each student.

• Offer crisis intervention services, employing de-escalation techniques and managing urgent care needs, while identifying necessary referrals for higher levels of support when appropriate.

• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources through psychoeducation initiatives.

• Maintain accurate and current documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Engage regularly in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training opportunities to foster a culture of collaboration and professional growth.

• Stay informed on the latest legal, ethical, and best practice guidelines pertinent to mental health care within school settings.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
