You will engage with students and families through virtual sessions, utilizing innovative communication methods to create a bridge between mental health and educational success.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services to students experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' mental health needs, assessing emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to guide future treatment.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and educational staff, ensuring cultural competency and relevance.
\n
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with educators, school psychologists, and administrators to create a holistic support network for each student.
\n
• Monitor, document, and analyze student progress, adapting treatment plans as needed based on the student's feedback and progress.
\n
• Provide educational resources and support for students and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to foster a supportive environment.

• Uphold ethical and professional standards in practice, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent is maintained in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with students from diverse backgrounds, catering to a wide variety of mental health challenges. This role requires a nuanced understanding of the educational context, and the unique pressures faced by young individuals, enabling you to provide tailored support that nurtures their mental and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a recognized and accredited institution is required.
\n
• A current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
\n
• At least 2 years of demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services, particularly in a clinical or educational setting.
\n
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students, families, and colleagues.
\n
• Experienced in conducting thorough assessments and creating evidence-based, culturally sensitive treatment plans.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and other health management software is essential.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health issues as well as an empathetic understanding of the challenges facing today's youth.

• A strong commitment to upholding ethical standards in mental health practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a school-based or educational environment is highly desirable, as well as a strong network within the local community for additional support resources.

• Experience in crisis intervention and management to meet the immediate needs of students in distress.

Compensation and Benefits\n
