Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions with clients using video chat, focusing on empowering them to enhance their emotional well-being and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be providing services primarily to screened adults exhibiting low acuity mental health concerns, ensuring that you work with individuals who require support rather than crisis intervention. Clients will be matched to you based on your specific areas of expertise and demographic preferences, allowing for a more personalized therapeutic relationship and effective outcomes. Our clients are stable adults where no severe mental health crisis intervention is required, making your role vital in promoting personal growth and stability.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Full licensure by the state of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with no disciplinary actions against the license.

• Ability to practice independently without supervision.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n
