In this full-time position, you will focus on providing therapeutic services to individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Your expertise in evidence-based practices will be critical in conducting thorough assessments, developing customized treatment plans, and delivering meaningful therapeutic interventions that foster mental health and overall well-being.

Work Environment\n

The majority of our services are delivered remotely via telehealth, allowing flexibility and the ability to cater to clients in various geographical locations. Our remote work culture promotes effective communication, collaboration, and mutual support. While core working hours are typically from Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, we also require some evening and weekend availability on a rotational basis. This flexibility enables us to meet the diverse needs of our clients while ensuring our therapists maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, objectives, and therapeutic preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, the intricacies of their treatment options, and strategies for self-care.

• Monitor clients’ progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care that addresses all aspects of clients' health.

• Remain informed about emerging research and developments in the field of mood disorders to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all client records are up-to-date.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to refine clinical skills and stay informed about best practices in mood disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults facing mental health challenges related to mood disorders. Our clientele spans a wide range of backgrounds, each with unique life experiences and varying degrees of complexity in their mental health journeys. Your ability to empathize and connect with individuals from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds will be essential in fostering therapeutic relationships and successful outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A valid state license as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatric colleagues.

• Demonstrated success in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, tailored to mood disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

Proven track records of successful treatment outcomes in similar settings will be viewed favorably.
