Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individualized remote counseling sessions for clients, involving individuals, couples, and families using secure video conferencing tools.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to gain insights into clients' mental health issues, and develop tailored treatment plans with clearly defined, measurable goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a variety of emotional and behavioral issues, ensuring clients receive the support they need.

• Provide support and intervention during crisis situations, prioritizing the immediate safety and well-being of clients through active listening and crisis management techniques.

• Maintain accurate, confidential client records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions, customization of coping strategies, and available resources that empower them to manage their mental health effectively.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including referring providers and community resources, to promote comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.

• At least two years of experience providing mental health counseling services.

• Experience in a remote or online counseling setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
