Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of students to determine their mental health needs, combining interviews, standardized assessments, and input from educators and caregivers.

• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that address a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges.

• Implement therapeutic interventions and provide ongoing counseling sessions via virtual platforms to foster growth and coping strategies among students.
\n
• Monitor and document clients’ progress towards their goals, adjusting treatment strategies as needed based on their evolving needs and feedback.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, effectively addressing situations involving risk of harm to self or others, and work collaboratively to facilitate referrals for additional support where necessary.

• Engage with other healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists and educational staff—to coordinate comprehensive care for each student.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical guidelines and legal standards of practice in all client interactions and documentation.

• Participate actively in continuing education and professional development initiatives, staying informed about the latest research, treatment methodologies, and applicable regulations.

This role focuses on school-aged children and adolescents who may experience a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or closely related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Pennsylvania License (LCSW) to provide independent mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
