Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility while allowing you to deliver outpatient counseling services. As part of our vibrant team, you will collaborate with colleagues using secure electronic health record (EHR) systems to document progress, communicate client needs, and facilitate referrals when necessary. We utilize telehealth tools and virtual meeting platforms for sessions, ensuring that we meet the needs of our clients effectively and conveniently. Although the role is remote, support and guidance from the team are readily available.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with new clients to identify their mental health status and areas of concern.

• Develop and implement personalized therapeutic plans to address clients' issues, setting measurable goals and objectives.

• Facilitate regular follow-up sessions to monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed, empowering clients with tools to overcome challenges.

• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals such as psychiatrists or rehabilitation services as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and collaborate on multidisciplinary care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will work with a wide range of clients, including individuals struggling with mental health disorders, substance use issues, and those in need of support for behavioral health concerns. Understanding and respecting the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and cultural contexts of our clients are essential to your success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling in diverse settings.
\n
• Solid understanding of various mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in challenging circumstances.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport and trust with clients from various cultures.

Compensation and Benefits\n
