Key Responsibilities\n

• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups alongside experienced birth workers to foster holistic wellness.

• Engage actively in community outreach and engagement activities that promote mental wellness and the strengthening of familial support systems.

• Participate in clinical consultation sessions and multidisciplinary co-learning environments to enhance collaboration and treatment outcomes.

• Document clinical interactions and treatment updates thoroughly and timely, complying with industry standards and organizational requirements.

• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned, ensuring flexibility and adaptability within the dynamic mental health landscape.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a key member of our remote therapy team, you will primarily work with individuals from various backgrounds, particularly focusing on those who are experiencing the complexities of childbirth and postpartum challenges. Your role will involve developing therapeutic relationships that recognize and address cultural sensitivities and individual needs, ultimately aiming to improve the mental and emotional wellbeing of birthing individuals and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• An active license to practice in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
