Work Environment This full-time position is 100% remote, allowing you to help clients from diverse backgrounds without geographical barriers. You will utilize telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions in a secure, confidential manner, creating a safe environment for all clients. As part of our community health clinic, you will be integrated into a supportive virtual team of professionals committed to improving mental health outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing various telehealth platforms and tools. Perform comprehensive assessments to gather insights on clients’ relational dynamics and mental health challenges, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. Implement family systems therapy approaches to facilitate discussions around relationship dynamics, effective communication strategies, and family stressors. Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and their families. Maintain accurate and confidential electronic client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in line with legal and ethical standards. Educate clients on conflict resolution techniques and coping strategies to empower them in improving their interpersonal relationships. Engage collaboratively with a diverse team of therapists and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with advancements in marriage and family therapy practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on providing therapeutic support to a varied client base, including individuals, couples, and families facing a crises or general life challenges. Your work will significantly contribute to their journey toward emotional healing and healthier relationship dynamics, which can also have a positive ripple effect within their broader communities. Qualifications Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California, allowing you to practice therapy within the state. A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or related mental health fields. A minimum of two years of relevant experience providing therapy in a similar setting. Effective interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients during remote interactions. Commitment to maintaining ethical and confidential therapeutic practices in all client engagements. Ability to work independently while being self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible in scheduling to meet the needs of clients across various time zones. Preferred Experience Experience delivering remote therapy services is preferred, though not strictly required. Proficiency in using telehealth technology and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
