The Sanity Family Care Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our progressive outpatient team in Las Vegas, Nevada. Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while working from home or a location of your choice. You will primarily work a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours as patient needs arise. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ psychological well-being, taking into account any medical conditions that may influence their mental health.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical needs through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, customizing therapeutic interventions to align with the unique circumstances and backgrounds of each patient.

• Coordinate care efforts with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure that treatment plans are effectively executed and achieve optimal outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients about the vital connection between mental health and physical health, guiding them towards empowering self-management strategies for their conditions.

• Maintain precise and confidential medical documentation in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines to uphold ethical standards.

• Engage in team meetings and case conferences, contributing to collaborative care planning and treatment discussions.

• Regularly review and remain updated with current research and best practices in integrated care to enhance treatment quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients facing a broad range of mental health challenges, particularly those with co-occurring medical conditions. Your role will be pivotal in helping patients navigate the complex interplay between their physical and mental health, providing them with the tools and support necessary for improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• Strong ability to assess and address the mental health needs of individuals with various co-morbid medical conditions.

• Experience in providing integrated care alongside medical professionals is highly desirable.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, vital for building rapport and trust with patients.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role or setting will be required. Candidates with prior experience in outpatient care or those who have worked within an integrated healthcare model will have an advantage, as will those with experience in crisis intervention and therapeutic group facilitation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
