Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to balance your professional commitments with personal life. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While your schedule will predominantly adhere to these hours, some flexibility may be required based on patient needs and appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma histories and devise appropriate treatment approaches tailored to their unique experiences.

• Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and execute individualized treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery, ensuring that each plan reflects the specific needs and goals of our patients.

• Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing processes.

• Group and Individual Therapy: Lead individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing established techniques to help patients process trauma, build coping strategies, and foster a supportive healing environment.

• Collaborative Care: Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support aligned with their treatment goals.

• Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, acting quickly and effectively to stabilize acute situations.

• Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them to navigate their healing journey.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, including progress notes and treatment updates.

• Professional Development: Actively engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, offering therapeutic support to those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our diverse clientele includes various age groups and backgrounds, allowing for a rich experience that enhances your therapeutic practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Possession of strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, ensuring a stable therapeutic environment for patients.

• Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications relevant to the role.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
