Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technology to ensure our clients receive high-quality mental health services from the comfort of their homes. Our team embraces flexibility, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively while meeting the needs of your clients. With a Monday to Friday workweek from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this role offers the possibility for occasional adjustments based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a constructive space for clients to process their experiences and develop coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated care for all clients.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on the impacts of trauma, effective coping strategies, and available support systems.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and secure documentation following legal and ethical standards, contributing to the overall integrity of our practice.

• Engage in professional consultations, team meetings, and ongoing education activities related to trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advances in trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those dealing with PTSD and related disorders. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their healing journeys and provide them with the tools necessary to thrive in their daily lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois is essential.

• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and the associated treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant therapeutic software.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to client care.

• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure.

• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team is desirable.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
