Family Wise Counseling, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely while providing specialized mental health care to individuals impacted by trauma. As a key member of our mental health team, you will play a critical role in facilitating healing and recovery for clients facing the challenges of trauma.

This is a remote position with a telehealth model, allowing you to connect with clients through digital platforms in a flexible setting. You will primarily engage in therapy sessions via secure video conferencing technology, providing an accessible means for clients to receive care from the comfort of their homes. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, you will contribute to a supportive and dynamic work culture.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine suitable therapeutic approaches.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience-building through evidence-based practices.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively support client healing.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for clients to process trauma and develop constructive coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated care approach for optimal client outcomes.
• Oversee crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and guidance to clients in distress.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, ensuring they are equipped with available resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of therapy sessions, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and share knowledge on trauma-informed practices.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously refine and enhance therapeutic interventions.

Your client base will primarily consist of individuals struggling with the effects of trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with diverse populations, addressing unique cultural backgrounds and varying levels of trauma severity. Your expertise will empower clients to navigate their recovery journeys effectively.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred, emphasizing trauma-informed care.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies is essential.
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions tailored to individual client needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor in all client interactions.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios to provide the best support to clients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant computer applications.
• A collaborative spirit, willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on holistic client care.

• Demonstrated involvement in trauma-informed care settings and familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and digital therapeutic approaches may be advantageous.
• Continuous engagement in professional development and education related to trauma and mental health therapy.

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
