Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to create individualized therapy strategies tailored to their unique needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive client care, discussing cases and sharing insights to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation, upholding ethical and legal standards in all aspects of your work.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development activities to keep abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals and families who often face barriers to traditional mental health services. You will provide support to clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, fostering resilience and personal growth throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical counseling context.
• A strong knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines governing mental health practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and proficient in related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
