Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing patient histories, assessing physical abilities, and establishing realistic goals for rehabilitation.
• Develop and execute detailed treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to orthopedic conditions, ensuring alignment with patient-specific needs and progress.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to adjust care plans based on ongoing assessments of patient progress.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all therapy services, progress notes, evaluations, and discharge plans, adhering to legal and regulatory compliance standards.
• Meet and exceed productivity expectations while actively engaging in team meetings and organizational initiatives that enhance the overall patient experience.
• Pursue continuous professional development through ongoing education and by serving as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students when required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients dealing with a variety of conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, degenerative diseases, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure to practice within New York.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is strongly preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and patient management software is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
