Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments tailored to children and adolescents to identify their specific needs and challenges.

• Design, implement, and reevaluate individualized treatment plans utilizing developmental frameworks and considering family dynamics.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group sessions, to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to better support parents and caregivers in fostering a supportive atmosphere.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and school personnel to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, responding promptly to situations that may arise during therapy sessions.

• Educate families about mental health conditions and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in professional development opportunities to stay updated on current advancements in therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be delivering mental health support to children and adolescents facing various emotional challenges. You will work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that all interactions are rooted in respect, empathy, and culturally competent approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• Strong familiarity with a range of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Proven ability to deliver effective therapy techniques to children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate approach to client engagement.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and various computer applications to manage patient information efficiently.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of working within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience of at least two years working in mental health counseling with children and adolescents is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices and methodologies will be highly regarded as it enhances the service delivery to our young clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, we offer:
