Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to address their specific mental health needs, preferences, and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively foster clients’ emotional and psychological well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Regularly monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey and adjust plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive treatment approach.

• Stay abreast of the latest industry research and trends in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain meticulous records of client sessions, assessments, and progress in adherence to legal and ethical standards of mental health documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adult individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, providing compassionate care and targeted interventions to support their mental health journeys. These clients often seek help for challenges related to emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and cognitive distortions associated with their conditions.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
\n
• Strong expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, ideally CBT and DBT, with the ability to apply these methods effectively in therapeutic sessions.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the skills to collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals regarding treatment plans.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve successful outcomes dealing with diverse populations and varied mental health conditions.
