This role is set in a fully remote work environment while allowing counselors to connect with clients through an Outpatient Office setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and engage in preliminary interviews to assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health.

• Develop comprehensive treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on clinical assessments.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to foster therapeutic pathways for recovery.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to intervention plans based on their evolving needs.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
\n
• Offer psychoeducation and support to family members and primary caregivers to help them better understand and assist clients facing mental health challenges.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of all patient interactions in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay abreast of the latest developments in psychotherapy and mental health interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and trauma. You will provide support to individuals at different life stages along with couples and families, focusing on a holistic approach that addresses both mental and emotional health. Our clientele may also include those experiencing co-occurring disorders, allowing counselors to develop integrated treatment plans that address both mental health and addiction issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor, showcasing a range of therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly with tools like AVATAR, to manage client documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in working with a variety of psychological disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices in mental health care.

• In-depth understanding of medications typically prescribed for mental health conditions and their implications on treatment plans.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a genuine and empathetic nature that fosters a trusting therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
