Lifetime Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team in Riverside, California. In this role, you will specialize in providing trauma-informed care to individuals who have experienced significant psychological distress. This full-time position requires a licensed clinician who is willing to engage with patients through various therapeutic modalities focusing on recovering from trauma.

As a remote facility providing mental health services, we prioritize a collaborative and supportive work culture. You will join a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists, who share a commitment to trauma-informed care. The flexibility of the remote setting allows you to work from home while still making meaningful connections with patients through virtual platforms. Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of adjusting your schedule to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to determine patients' mental health needs and tailor treatment accordingly.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the development of coping mechanisms and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and cultivate healthier coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during instances of trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the psychological effects of trauma, available treatment options, and coping strategies.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance our collective approach to trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on current research and best practices related to trauma therapy and incorporate these insights into your clinical work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will primarily consist of individuals coping with the effects of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other life-altering events. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care principles and a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Superb interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

• Ability to handle sensitive situations with composure and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on trauma therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer:
