Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to understand clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and coordinating care strategies to enhance clients' wellness.

• Document treatment progress and adjust interventions based on therapeutic outcomes, maintaining compliance with organizational and legal standards.

• Offer supervision and guidance to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors when applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students experiencing substance abuse issues in conjunction with mental health challenges. Many of these clients may be dealing with stressors from their home, social settings, or academic pressures. You will work diligently to provide a supportive environment where young people feel safe to explore their challenges and will also work collaboratively with their families to strengthen family dynamics and promote holistic recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
\n
• Current and valid licensure in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience in mental health therapy.
\n
• Strong communication skills and cultural competence to engage effectively with diverse client populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of specialized post-licensure experience treating mood disorders and trauma-informed care.

• Profound knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively coordinate care with psychiatrists and medical professionals.
\n
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive therapeutic outcomes for clients with complex needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
