Account Development Representative

A growing consumer products company is looking for an energetic, motivated professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. What You'll Do You'll start with an existing book of business and work with customers through phone, email, trade shows, and other communication channels. From there, you'll learn how to identify opportunities, expand accounts, develop new relationships, and contribute directly to company growth. Responsibilities include: Manage and support an existing book of business Build strong relationships with current customers Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts Reach out to prospective customers and develop new business Respond to customer questions via phone, email, and live chat Learn to conduct needs-based sales conversations and recommend appropriate solutions Follow up on leads, opportunities, and customer requests Participate throughout the sales process, from initial conversation through order Enter orders and maintain accurate customer and contact information Help develop sales promotions and account-growth strategies Work toward individual and team sales goals Attend approximately 3-5 trade shows per year to meet customers and develop new business Who We're Looking For We're interested in someone who is ready for more . You may currently be working in customer service and find yourself naturally looking for ways to increase an order or solve a bigger customer problem. You might be an inside sales representative who is ready to own accounts rather than simply support them. Or you may be a sales coordinator who wants the opportunity to move into a more customer-facing, revenue-generating role. The right person will bring: Experience in customer service, inside sales, account support, sales coordination, or another customer-facing role Excellent written and verbal communication skills A genuine interest in sales and business development Strong organizational and follow-up skills Confidence communicating with customers by phone and email A proactive, "take charge" approach to solving problems The ability to work independently while also being part of a team Energy, accountability, and a willingness to learn The ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions A desire to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility Previous sales experience is helpful, but we are equally interested in someone with strong customer-facing experience who is ready to develop into a successful salesperson.
