Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing therapeutic sessions with clients, ensuring ethical and culturally competent practices.

• Provide clinical consultation to our clinical staff regarding mental health issues, particularly focusing on various patient populations such as geriatrics and individuals with substance use disorders.

• Facilitate clear communication among team members by interpreting and relaying vital information about patients and their families, including social history and treatment progress.
\n
• Lead treatment planning sessions, making informed recommendations and assisting in the development of individual care plans tailored to each patient's home environment and needs.
\n
• Review and refine provider cases to maintain the highest standard of patient care, ensuring that treatment approaches are attuned to evolving patient needs.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including timely completion of progress notes and reports after client sessions, leveraging our digital systems to ensure thorough and efficient handling of case information.

• Engage in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss case studies, share insights, and develop best practices within the framework of an outpatient care model.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall function and mission of El Centro Behavioral Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Possession of one of the following independent licenses: LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT is required.

• Strong writing skills, with the ability to complete progress notes promptly and accurately post-client sessions.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for establishing rapport with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is a plus.

• Specialized training or certification related to trauma-informed care or substance use counseling will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
