Strategic Payer Partner Lead

iRhythm seeks a Strategic Payer Partner Lead to oversee payer performance management and team operations within revenue cycle. This remote role combines individual contributor expertise with leadership responsibilities, driving payer strategy, root cause analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Strategic Payer Partner team performance, mentorship, and regional payer assignments
- Conduct root cause audits of payer issues and ensure consistent resolution documentation
- Partner with Market Access, DMAs, and RCM liaisons on multi-team response coordination
- Monitor payer performance trends across regions to identify systemic gaps and opportunities
- Develop SOPs, templates, and escalation workflows; track remediation execution and follow-through
Requirements
- At least 7 years healthcare revenue cycle or payer performance experience
- Advanced root cause analysis and data interpretation capabilities
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Denial management, EOB interpretation, and AR collection strategy knowledge
- Experience leading or mentoring revenue cycle and payer-focused teams
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in matrixed environments
Compensation: $115,000–$149,000 base
