Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while engaging directly with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive care within our Hospice Center. Your colleagues will include physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals, all striving to create a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that prioritizes patient empowerment and outcomes. Although your primary work setting will be remote, occasional meetings or training sessions may occur at our Austin, Texas office.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized clinical assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients managing severe emotional disorders or major mental illnesses.

• Engage effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support, including crisis intervention as required.

• Participate actively in team meetings to set and review performance goals, enhancing both personal and team contributions to patient care.

• Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and professional standards in all interactions and documentation, fostering trust and integrity within the community.

• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation, ensuring all client information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support patients in hospice care, who may be experiencing complex emotional challenges related to their diagnosis and prognosis. You will work with diverse populations, addressing not only mental health needs but also fostering emotional resilience during critical life transitions for patients and their families. Sensitivity to cultural and individual differences is essential, as you will encounter various beliefs, attitudes, and values.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

• Must hold an active License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention strategies for mental health issues, along with skills in crisis management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on establishing rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.

• Strong organizational and planning capabilities to manage client caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinician is required, preferably in a mental health or hospice setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 90,000 annually, supplemented with a comprehensive benefits package.
