Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through interviews to gather social, personal, and health information, thereby developing a holistic understanding of each client.

• Plan and coordinate personalized programs and activities to address clients' emotional and social needs, using a client-centered approach.
\n
• Effectively facilitate short-term crisis interventions and refer clients to appropriate community resources when necessary.

• Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment and strategy, making adjustments as needed to optimize client outcomes.

• Engage in thorough documentation and maintain up-to-date client records in accordance with established protocols.

• Maintain an active caseload while ensuring adherence to case documentation and reporting standards.

• Provide individual clinical counseling with a focus on establishing connection, empathy, and mutual respect with clients.

• Take on additional duties as assigned by the clinical supervisor to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work with a diverse array of clients, including but not limited to individuals experiencing emotional distress, mood disorders, substance abuse issues, and relational challenges. Our focus extends to families affected by grief and loss, providing them with comprehensive support tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Arizona is a requirement.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in clinical social work or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in handling behavioral mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, addiction, family dynamics, and grief counseling, is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

While four years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional certifications or specialized training in mental health care, family therapy, or crisis intervention are highly valued. Experience in a hospice or palliative care setting, while not essential, will be advantageous.
