Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center is designed to provide an optimal healing environment, fully equipped with the latest technology in physical therapy equipment. You will work onsite in a collaborative setting, alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional life alongside a fulfilling career.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify individual needs and treatment goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, focusing on enhancing patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring one-on-one therapy sessions that promote effective communication and personalized care.
• Create, document, and adjust comprehensive treatment plans utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and specific exercises.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluating outcomes and making necessary modifications to therapy plans to achieve optimal results.
• Educate and motivate patients, encouraging active participation in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver integrated care and address patients' broader health needs.
• Provide ongoing documentation of therapy sessions and progress in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will primarily be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries, including fractures, sports injuries, and conditions such as arthritis. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes aiming to return to peak performance to elderly individuals seeking to regain independence. You'll have the opportunity to use your expertise in designing customized fitness and wellness programs that cater specifically to the needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy.
• Current Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and experience designing and implementing exercise regimens.
• Proven ability to utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to streamline patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable, as it equips candidates with the relevant skills to handle a diverse case load effectively. Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches allows for the development of individualized treatment strategies that respond to the evolving needs of patients.

Compensation and Benefits
