MD Dynamic Assist Family Medicine is actively searching for a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at our onsite Surgical Center located in Henderson, Nevada. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment within our Surgical Center. The role requires hands-on engagement with patients in an outpatient clinic setting from Monday to Friday, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments which include obtaining complete medical histories and performing physical examinations to identify acute and chronic health issues.
• Formulate medical diagnoses in collaboration with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals, while ensuring all findings are documented appropriately.
• Manage common outpatient health concerns, referring patients to specialists when immediate medical attention is necessary, and maintain responsibility for follow-up care.
• Develop individualized care plans in coordination with physicians and other team members, prescribing treatments, medications, and therapies in accordance with established standards.
• Order, evaluate, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, including x-rays, bloodwork, and other assessments, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Utilize electronic health record systems to document patient interactions, care provided, and patient outcomes in a timely manner.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health maintenance, chronic disease management, and preventive care to empower them in their health journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and facilitate necessary referrals to additional health or social services.
• Engage in therapeutic procedures, ensuring the highest standard of care is consistently maintained.
• Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with legal standards and organizational policy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will cater to a diverse patient population, including families and individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a primary care or outpatient setting.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Nevada.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and healthcare regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with underserved populations or in community health settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and a willingness to adapt to new technologies are also advantageous for this position.
