• Assist with specimen collection and preparation for testing as deemed necessary.
• Keep thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a tidy, safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be earned within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
