Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth intake assessments to evaluate and understand clients’ mental health needs, including the use of standardized screening tools.

• Collaborate with clients to establish personalized treatment goals and actionable objectives, ensuring an individualized approach to therapy.
\n
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.

• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress towards treatment goals, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate and confidential records.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and community resources, to provide a holistic support system for clients.

• Educate clients’ families about mental health issues, promoting active involvement in the recovery process through workshops and support sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, each presenting unique challenges across a broad spectrum of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is crucial in providing culturally competent care by being sensitive to the clients' cultural backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in one of the following areas: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
\n
• Certification in specific therapeutic methodologies is preferred, plus a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish rapport with a diverse clientele, ensuring a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• A strong ethical foundation, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards of practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years’ experience providing counseling or therapy in a clinical setting is preferred.
