This position is part time with flexible hours based on the needs of the program and clients. Hope For Youth has openings for a Community Psychiatric Supports and Treatment (CPST) Worker in our Child Mental Health Rehabilitation Services (CMHRS) program. CPST Workers assists children, and their families achieve stability in their home, set goals, and create interpersonal relationships. They  also provide crisis management and counseling. CPST services are goal-directed supports and solution-focused interventions intended to address challenges associated with a behavioral health need and to achieve identified goals or objectives as set forth in the child's treatment plan. CPST services include the activities necessary to correct or ameliorate conditions discovered during the initial assessment visits. CPST is a face-to-face intervention with the child/youth, family/caregiver or other collateral supports. This is a multi-component service that consists of therapeutic interventions such as counseling, as well as function OLP, to address identified rehabilitative needs with a comprehensive treatment plan. Services are delivered in a trauma informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner.What You'll Do:Provide individual, group, and family therapeutic servicesSupport youth through psychosocial rehabilitation and vocational trainingWork collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomesDevelop and implement treatment plans aligned with OMH guidelinesDeliver services that are trauma-informed, culturally, and linguistically competentAssist with discharge planning and provide transportation as neededMaintain documentation, reports, and case notesParticipate in supervision, training, and professional developmentWhat We're Looking For:Master's Degree (or higher) in a related field and 1 year of experience working with children/adolescents and familiesORBachelor's Degree with certification in an Evidence-Based Practice (consistent with CPST services)ORBachelor 's Degree and 3+ years of applicable experience (children's mental health, addiction, foster care/child welfare, juvenile justice, or related field)Additional Requirements:Valid NYS Driver's License in good standingReliable personal vehicle daily for work-related travel (mileage reimbursement available)Strong writing, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft Office & EMR systems)Ability to meet physical requirements of the job (walking, sitting, standing, bending, stair climbing, driving, etc.) This opportunity is being offered as Part-Time, 10-20 hour Weekdays/Weekends, based on client needsOnly candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.Excellent training and leadership opportunities available throughout employment and more.Here are some of the other benefits of working for Hope for Youth.
