Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand the mental health needs of clients, crafting tailored treatment plans that address their unique situations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services in a manner sensitive to the distinct needs of individuals, groups, and families, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during acute distress situations, demonstrating compassion and expertise in high-pressure environments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Haywood Counseling Center, you will serve a varied patient population, which includes individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• Active licensure in Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A completed master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and develop therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Experience in working with culturally diverse populations, showcasing sensitivity and respect for various backgrounds.

• Proficient in organizational skills, capable of maintaining accurate and timely documentation within required timelines.
