Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct secure, confidential therapy sessions using telehealth technology to maintain a supportive space for clients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments that help decode clients' family dynamics and mental health concerns, leading to tailored treatment plans.
• Apply systematic interventions grounded in family systems therapy while addressing relational challenges and improving communication dynamics.
• Offer crisis intervention when necessary to ensure client safety and provide immediate support during highly stressful situations.
• Keep accurate electronic health records, maintaining progress notes and treatment plans that align with both ethical and legal standards.
• Educate clients in essential coping strategies, conflict resolution, and effective communication skills, empowering them to enhance their relationships.
• Collaborate with other therapists and mental health professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
• Continuously engage in professional development to stay updated with the latest trends and research in marriage and family therapy.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience is necessary, equipping you with the skills to manage various client scenarios.
• Experience providing remote therapy is preferred, granting familiarity with the particular nuances of virtual interactions.

Compensation and Benefits
