Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable Specialist San Jose, CA (onsite) $35-40/hr Are you a high-volume accounts payable professional with construction industry experience? Do you have an upbeat and positive attitude with a strong attention to detail? We are looking for an accounts payable individual for a new job opportunity in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounts payable experience, good excel skills, and have a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform high-volume invoice processing with a strong focus on three-way match (invoice, PO, and receipt) Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries in a timely manner Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls and company policies Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and accounting teams to resolve issues efficiently Maintain organized and up-to-date AP documentation and records Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable Qualifications Proven experience in accounts payable within a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong working knowledge of three-way match processes Construction industry experience is a plus High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour Our benefit offerings provide employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
