Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans that address the unique needs of each client.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, during one-on-one and group sessions.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic medical record (EMR) systems efficiently.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, also contributing to workshops and training sessions to stay informed on the latest mental health research and treatment approaches.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to enhance the holistic care provided to clients, ensuring comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, emphasizes immediate client safety and therapeutic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our target client population consists of individuals and families with limited access to mental health care, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relational issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license to practice in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential, with a strong preference for experience in a telehealth setting.

• Deep knowledge of ethical and legal standards related to mental health care, coupled with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
