Work Environment

The position requires an onsite presence within our dedicated rehabilitation facility, working Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. This setting fosters close collaboration amongst a team of experienced physical therapists and support staff who work together to create a nurturing atmosphere for our patients. As a full-time employee, you will immerse yourself in a diverse caseload, primarily involving patients with private health insurance, each navigating unique challenges and recovery paths.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs, creating tailored treatment plans that align with their personal rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused, quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to enhance patient mobility and functional capabilities.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, encouraging progress through tailored fitness and wellness programs designed to build strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, providing regular updates and clear communication regarding patient advancement to both patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care services in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care, leveraging insights from various healthcare specialists.
• Stay abreast of developments in physical therapy practices and integrate relevant advancements into treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Holistic Health PT Clinic, you will primarily work with adult patients ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to those dealing with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be critical in reducing reliance on medications and exploring alternative treatments that prioritize long-term health and mobility enhancements.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing structured exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to ensure accurate patient documentation and billing processes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to motivate and support patients throughout their healing processes.
• Abilities to critically evaluate treatment efficacy and make necessary adjustments to plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
