Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed to cater specifically to athletes and active individuals seeking specialized care. Work Environment

You will be a part of a dynamic healthcare team consisting of two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Our clinic embraces a team-oriented atmosphere that fosters unity and collaboration, ensuring that each patient receives a continuum of care tailored to their unique needs. The clinic operates onsite, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured work environment that prioritizes work-life balance while serving our patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Work with 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring efficient and effective therapy sessions.
• Foster a patient-centric environment by inspiring patients to actively participate in their healing journey.
• Monitor treatment progress and analyze results to adjust care strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services and treatment records using EMR software, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients on wellness practices, including fitness regimens focused on enhancing strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Promote non-surgical treatment options, aiming to reduce prescription drug reliance.
• Encourage and empower patients to reach their physical goals, adjusting treatment plans to suit individual capabilities and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily consists of athletes and active individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with diverse patient demographics, tailoring rehabilitation strategies to their specific needs, motivations, and health conditions. By focusing on holistic recovery approaches, you will help our patients regain their physical capabilities and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid Physical Therapist License in the State of Florida.
• No prior board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and familiar with contemporary therapeutic modalities.
• Hands-on experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly preferred.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one-year experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting, with specific experience treating sports-related injuries.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members alike.
• Experience in developing customized rehabilitation programs and fitness plans.
