Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' medical histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations to determine physical capabilities and limitations.
• Create tailored treatment plans that address each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation goals, ensuring clear communication and understanding with the patient about their recovery journey.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including specialized exercise programs and manual therapy techniques, aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Employ advanced manual therapy strategies such as trigger point therapy and dry needling as indicated to manage pain and accelerate healing processes.
• Provide education and instruction to patients on proper body mechanics and home exercise regimens, fostering ongoing engagement in their rehabilitation process.
• Monitor patient progress diligently and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date patient documentation to comply with regulatory requirements and support the continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with a diverse age group from young athletes to senior citizens, providing care that is both compassionate and effective. Your expertise will help guide these individuals through their healing processes, enabling them to regain function and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic principles, anatomy, and rehabilitation techniques pertinent to physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
