Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient Care Specialist

Position Overview

Physical Momentum Therapy, LLC is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Homestead, Florida. This full-time position requires an individual who is passionate about improving the quality of life for patients dealing with a range of physical difficulties, impairments, and discomforts. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient abilities and develop individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility and overall functional independence.
• Design and implement effective treatment protocols incorporating various modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, adapting approaches based on patient progress.
• Regularly document patient evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care and provide updates on patient progress.
• Establish meaningful relationships with patients to encourage participation in their rehabilitation journey, addressing any concerns or barriers to recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your dedication to tailored treatments will help address each patient's unique challenges, whether they are athletes seeking to return to sport, seniors looking to regain mobility, or anyone in between.

Qualifications

• Active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, exercise physiology, and physical therapy modalities.
• Proven ability to adhere to Standard Precautions, using personal protective equipment as required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in designing and implementing individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Certification in specialty areas such as orthopedics or sports rehabilitation is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
