Superior Balance Physical Health Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Homestead, Florida. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in assisting patients to regain their maximum mobility and enhance their quality of life. Your responsibilities will encompass providing thorough assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and administering high-quality therapeutic interventions in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

Work Environment

The work setting is designed for optimal patient interaction and rehabilitation. Our outpatient clinic offers state-of-the-art facilities with equipment beneficial for various orthopedic treatments. You will participate in a team-oriented work environment where effective communication and collaboration are key. With a patient caseload of one person per hour, you will have the opportunity to deliver personalized care at every session.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, identifying their goals and requirements to create effective rehabilitation plans.
• Administer tailored therapy sessions that incorporate a variety of intervention strategies, including manual therapy and exercise protocols.
• Document treatment plans and patient progress clearly and comprehensively, ensuring all records are maintained in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and address any multidisciplinary needs.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, making necessary adjustments to enhance recovery processes.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to enhance their overall well-being.
• Promote health and wellness through individualized fitness and rehabilitation programs focused on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our therapy sessions involves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We are dedicated to providing patient-centered care tailored to the unique needs of each client. Your role will involve helping patients understand their treatment pathways and empowering them to actively participate in their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based therapeutic interventions is essential.
• Strong knowledge and experience with developing comprehensive exercise and rehabilitation protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is a strong advantage, enabling you to hit the ground running.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse patient caseload effectively while maintaining high-quality standards of care.
• Experience in utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques to maximize patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
