Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed to provide a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff. You will work onsite alongside a knowledgeable and passionate team of physical therapists and healthcare professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous learning. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, allowing you to maintain a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's goals and physical therapy needs.
• Manage a steady caseload, typically providing one-on-one care to each patient per hour.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Emphasize cost-effective intervention strategies that enhance patients' mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Adopt evidence-based practices to deliver personalized care, improving patients' physical functioning.
• Motivate patients through their recovery journey, promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive management of patient care.
• Record and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve desired results.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and care provided to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on orthopedic conditions that require rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain management. Our patients often present with musculoskeletal issues, sports injuries, and post-operative recovery needs, necessitating tailored treatment plans to optimize their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and creating exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based methods in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
